Omri (عمري)

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-07-14

Omri works fully offline and has no account. Everything you enter — names, birth dates, and settings — stays on your device. We do not run a server and never receive your personal data. The only information that leaves your device is handled by our advertising and purchase providers (Google, Apple), and only as described below. Omri Pro users see no ads.

Information the app stores on your device

When you use Omri you may enter birth dates you calculate with, saved profiles (a name, birth date, and group — Family / Friends / Other — for each person you save), and preferences (language, theme, numerals style, and the Hijri day adjustment). This information is stored only on your device using the operating system's local storage. It is not transmitted to us or to any server, and we cannot access it. If you uninstall the app, this data is removed with it.

Information collected by third parties

Omri itself does not collect personal data. Two categories of third-party services process limited data to make the app work.

Advertising (free tier only) — Google AdMob

For users on the free tier, we show banner ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may collect and process device and usage information, including a device advertising identifier and ad-interaction data, in accordance with Google's policies. On first use we ask for your consent (via Google's consent flow) where required (e.g. EEA/UK). On iOS we request App Tracking Transparency permission before any cross-app tracking; if you decline, ads are non-personalized. Omri Pro removes all ads, so no advertising data is processed for Pro users. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Purchases — Google Play, Apple App Store, and RevenueCat

When you buy Omri Pro (a one-time purchase), the transaction is processed entirely by Google Play Billing or the Apple App Store. We never see or store your payment card or billing details. We use RevenueCat to verify and restore your purchase; it receives a purchase receipt and an anonymous app-user identifier (a random ID not linked to your name or email). It does not receive your personal identity.

What we do not collect

Omri does not collect or access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, health data, browsing history, or precise identity. There is no account, login, email collection, or newsletter.

How shared cards work

Birthday cards are generated on your device as image files. When you tap Share, your device's own share sheet lets you choose where to send the image — we are not involved in and do not receive the shared content.

Data sharing, retention, and deletion

We do not sell your personal data. The only data sharing is the operational processing by Google, Apple, and RevenueCat described above, solely to serve ads and process purchases. On-device data lives until you delete a profile or uninstall the app. We hold no server-side personal data. To reset your ad identifier, use your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking).

Children's privacy

Omri is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Ads are configured as non-child-directed.

Your rights

Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR in the EEA/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data and to opt out of personalized ads. Because Omri keeps your data on your device and we hold no personal data server-side, you can exercise most of these directly: edit or delete profiles in the app, manage ad consent via the in-app prompt, and control your advertising identifier in device settings. For any request, contact privacy@future-makers.org.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the app or legal requirements change; the effective date above reflects the latest version. Questions? Email privacy@future-makers.org.
